Costs & Prices

It depends on the system. Guide prices (net) for the sealant: carnauba wax NEOWAX No. 1 €50–100, coating wax No. 2 €100–200, graphene system No. 5 + No. 2 €250–500 and ceramic coating No. 6 €300–600. Depending on the paint condition, polishing adds €150–800. In the wizard you’ll see a price range for your vehicle in 2 minutes.

Guide prices for the NEOWAX No. 6 ceramic coating are €300–600 net. If the paint is not in as-new condition, a 1- to 3-stage polish is added. A well-kept compact car with a 1-stage polish, for example, comes to around €450–900 net.

Guide prices (net): 1-stage polish (light swirls) €150–300, 2-stage polish (scratches & holograms) €250–500, 3-stage polish or restoration (heavily weathered) €400–800. Your partner determines which stage your paint needs during the paint analysis.

Vehicle size, paint condition, paint hardness, colour and region have a major impact on the work involved. An as-new small car takes far less time than a weathered SUV. That’s why we show guide prices – your partner calculates the binding price after an inspection.

No. A request via the wizard is 100% free and without obligation for you. You receive a price estimate, and your chosen partner gets in touch with an individual quote.

Ceramic Coating & Coatings

A ceramic coating (also known as a ceramic paint coating) is a liquid sealant that cures into a glass-like protective layer and bonds with the clear coat. It lasts significantly longer than wax, is highly resistant to chemicals and delivers a mirror-like gloss and an easy-to-clean effect. Learn more on our ceramic coating page.

With normal use, NEOWAX No. 6 lasts 18–36 months. Hand washing, pH-neutral shampoo and garage parking extend its lifespan; frequent brush car washes, high mileage and road salt shorten it.

Yes, the coating is highly resistant to chemicals (pH 2–13.7). However, brushes cause fine scratches that even the best coating can only reduce. For maximum durability, we recommend hand washing – more in our guide Hand Wash vs. Automatic Car Wash.

No. It increases surface hardness and reduces fine wash scratches, but it won’t protect against stone chips or deep scratches. That’s what paint protection film (PPF) is for, which many NEOWAX partners also offer.

A coating containing graphene nanoparticles. In the NEOWAX system, the nano graphene primer No. 5 forms the hard base layer and the coating wax No. 2 the top layer. The result: 12+ months of protection that can be refreshed with a topping. Details on our graphene coating page.

For maximum static durability on the “install & forget” principle, the ceramic coating No. 6 (18–36 months) is the right choice. If you want maximum gloss and are happy to refresh your protection, choose the renewable graphene system No. 5 + No. 2.

Yes – it’s the ideal time. The paint is usually almost defect-free, the polishing effort is minimal and the sealant protects against wash scratches, road salt and weathering right from the start.

Car Wax

Wax delivers the warmest, deepest gloss but lasts for a shorter time (3–6 months). Coatings and ceramic coatings last significantly longer and are more resistant to chemicals. Wax suits enthusiast cars; a coating is the better fit for daily drivers. Read the detailed comparison in our guide Car Wax vs. Ceramic Coating.

The carnauba hybrid wax NEOWAX No. 1 lasts 3–6 months; the coating wax No. 2 lasts over 6 months and can be refreshed at any time. Tips on making it last longer in our guide Car Wax Durability.

With carnauba wax, around two to four times a year, ideally before winter and in spring. With coating wax No. 2, once or twice a year plus the occasional top-up is usually enough.

NEOWAX Car Wax No. 1 contains 50% premium T1 carnauba wax from Brazil, German montan wax, English beeswax and SiO₂. It was conceived in 2003, has been refined since 2016 and stands for a warm, extremely deep wet look. More on our car wax page.

Process & Requests

In the wizard, you enter your vehicle, paint condition and protection goal, optionally upload photos and choose a partner. You instantly see a price estimate. The partner then contacts you directly to clarify the details and arrange an appointment.

No. Your request is non-binding and gives the partner a basis for an initial assessment. An order is only placed once you accept the partner’s quote.

Under Find Partner you can see all certified partners on an interactive map. In our experience, it’s worth searching within a radius of around 50 km to find the right specialist.

A wax is often done in a day. A ceramic coating or graphene coating usually takes one to three working days, including polishing and curing. Your partner will tell you exactly how long it will take.

Photos help the partner realistically assess the paint condition and the polishing required. Ideally, photograph the clean car in the shade and use the flash so that swirl marks become visible. Uploading photos is optional.
